Best diner around. Always packed because it’s a small establishment with limited seating, but food comes out quickly. Great prices for the amount of delicious food you get. Always a list of homemade pies and cakes ready to buy by the slice or the whole thing. Very friendly family run staff. 100% recommend.

Great small town diner. I drop by here on my deliveries to the north country. The first reason was because there was ample parking for my big work truck, and now the first reason is the delicious home cooked meals and great service. You can tell this place is like a second home to many people and whenever I get a chance I get one of the lunch specials and a cup of soup. The people behind the counter and serving do a terrific job, and are friendly. If you want to feel the vibe of Northern Ny stop by, and be greeted with a smile and a good meal.

I have been trying a lot of diners in this part of ny. This is my favorite. Inside is nice. Service is top notch. The food is amazing and the prices are great. My number 1 pick for this area. I had to travel 45 minutes each way to get here. Worth the trip.

We arrived at the Silver Leaf today and found they were closed. The owner however came out and apologized prolifically. While we appreciated his kindness, it was not required, we should have checked ahead of time. We will return in the near future and we're just impressed with his coming out to apologize and let us know. Great customer service and great guy.

If there is a rule about eating while driving long distance, the rule is always stop at the roadside diner with the most amount of local cars out front. Silver Leaf diner is one of those. You need to stop in the fried chicken's good, the pie at the end is even better. I've never seen a restaurant sell as many pies as this one does. If there's any downside, it's the sides which are a little traditional and pretty bland. However, staff is wonderful and you should definitely stop by for dinner
