Shack BBQ

The ribs were very good and so was the pulled pork. It is definitely worth trying. I couldn't give five stars because the best part of the meal was the onion rings and hot sauce. The onion rings were some of the best I've ever had and the hot BBQ sauce was not to spicy to drowned out the flavor and it had a sweet kick at the end. The building was old and a little to dated for me but otherwise a nice place to eat. Would recommend if your in town.

Had dinner at The Shack on Stemley Bridge Road last night. What a great little place! Had the Shack Stack! A large portion of fries topped with smoked pulled pork and shredded cheese! It was great! Was very hot when it was served and there was regular and hot BBQ sauce on the table to use as a topper! Had unsweetened tea for a drink and it tasted fresh brewed. All in all it was a great meal for under $13.00. Will def go back and try some other things!

Great tender, smoky bbq, Good Cole slaw and banana pudding???? Never let the glass get empty. Friendly staff.

The food was amazing, my ribs had the meat fall off the bone. The coleslaw was amazing and we had a young waitress come by and was very polite to us and she asked if we wanted to try the banana pudding… best choice made of my life, it was delicious. I’m not from the area and I must say everyone was so polite to us, I highly recommend this place to everyone.

This place is great. Truly lives up to its name but is some of the best barbecue in the area. I had the pulled pork sandwich, baked beans and onion rings. The onion rings are beer-battered and always fried exceptionally with a great taste. The baked beans are definitely savory with a slight sweetness to them. The sandwich is the crown jewel. It was quality meat piled high with a nice amount of barbecue sauce and enough pickles to add the crunch and tanginess. This was a great meal and I would not recommend getting this and going back to work cause you very well might be caught sleeping if you do.
