I am very happy with my recent visit to the self serve. I recommend setting the dial to “off” when inserting quarters so the time doesn’t begin counting down as you’re still entering coins. $3 is 6 minutes of time—excellent deal! The wash wand is powerful, the brush incredibly soapy, the rinse was quick, and then the last 30 seconds were a spray wax which helped cause the beads of water to run off and prevented spotting!

Good location. Watch your back out on that stretch of hwy99. Eyes could be on you and quarters to some are gold to addicts and alcoholics.

A cheap place I go to vacuum out my car. ($1.50) The vacuum machine doesn’t take any dollar bills (even though it says it does, been this way for a long time) so you will have to go to the car wash and put your dollar in there to turn it into quarters. The vacuum works for 1.5-2 minutes. Long enough I only have to pay twice to vacuum my whole car. (Hyundai Accent) They have a “car wash” but it’s a self serve station so there is no one available to help you. Good spot for a quick vacuum or quick rinse off for your car. I recommend it just for the vacuum. It is open 24/7. *WATCH YOURE SURROUNDINGS- it’s not the safest area of town.*

The wash lasts four minutes and costs two dollars, which is a reasonable price but the time is nowhere near enough to clean your car. I spent 4 dollars for the wash and still didn't have enough time to wax or dry. I spend another 2.50 for two rounds of vacuuming. I used coin only but they have a banner now which says they take card, which I don't trust because apparently car washes are notorious skimming sites.

Everything about the car wash is great. The change and vending machines are filled and work. The vacuums work well. The washing apparatus has plenty of options and the brush, sprayer and dryer are always in good working order. Unfortunately the location is a little sketchy. Not that I've ever been bothered there...it begins at home. Remembering to wear something with pockets to hold quarters and keys. To lock my purse in the trunk before I go. To keep my doors locked and the keys in my pocket when I arrive and am outside the vehicle. And on top of all that, having to chastise myself (again!) for not cleaning all the debris out of the inside before starting the vacuum. God forbid having to rush back to retrieve forgotten floor mats. Otherwise the car wash is perfect!
