Sapporo Japanese Steak House

We stopped by here for an early dinner with the kids. The food had good proportions and all cooked to order. There were 3 groups including ours at the table. We were disappointed that the chef that cooked for us did not do anything entertaining like other ones, ex. tossing rice in your mouth. We all left full and satisfied.

Food and service were excellent for the price. Honestly some of the best fried rice I've ever had at a chain. The only issue is the few ants I saw. But it's Suffolk and on the water, so you can only do so much.

This used to be a nice sit down place for the family. I came tonight for the first time in a few years and it was the most horrible experience ever.The food was disgusting(pretty sure one of my friends has food poisoning from shrimp) and the service was even worse. Instead of checking on our table the waitress was playing on her phone and laptop. We had to get up and go to the register to ask for our check so we could leave. We will not be back at all. Was not worth the money spent.

first off, the service was acting scared of something the whole entire time. we ordered normal drinks, but the cups were dirty. then we ordered service was pretty quick. soup tasted disgusting i wouldn’t feed it to my dog. the noodles come out of a bag and they are frozen, also they are small and slimey with NO FLAVOR AT ALL. The steak tasted sour and very chewy not good. The place looked a hot mess very dirty makes you not wanna eat there at all. After reporting the problem the lady acted scared to tell her boss and the chef in the back. We ended up having to pay for all of it except for the burnt rolls they gave my mom. 0/10 I would never go back.

Friendly staff and tasty food. Small and local, so a great place to have dinner. I had the steak hibachi and California rolls. Both dishes were fresh and satisfying.
