Royal Regency Inn

I've stayed here twice on my own (on my way down to Florida), and keeping my expectations fair for a 2 star hotel at this price point, I found this motel to be convenient and restful for a quick off the highway stop. I found it to be respectable and clean with fair / nice management. Although it's clearly an older structure, you can see they are in the midst of upgrading the rooms and keeping the place safe, tidy and clean. The front desk made both of my middle-of-the-night check ins and requested late check outs easy and courteous. I found the surroundings to be safe and the other motel guests to be quiet on both occasions -- I saw that the establishment posts strict rules about # guests and visitors, which was comforting. I got a sound, comfortable, dark, and well air-conditoned sleep both times, and that is exactly what I payed for. It would be great if they had a coffee maker in the room or at the front desk, but all in all, I would have no hesitation staying here again in the future.

Very nasty out dated room, several cigarettes burn holes on the bed linen with noticeable stains, roaches, dingy bath towel smells bad, dirty worn out curtains, mold mildew. Do yourself a favor stay away those pictures of the room are misleading even the cable t.v. stations sucks. I immediately left after spending only minutes in the room.

Rooms aren't bad for a cheap motel..clean. no problems. Quiet. Friendly staff..Internet is horrible.. that's the only thing I can say is wrong though. For a road working construction worker I've been in way worse.

Check in was horrible. My husband book the reservation under his name, so that was the first problem my Son and I ran into. Had to call him and have him call to change the name which took a few minutes, then after the name was changed their card reader for payment wasn’t accepting my card because he still had my old card on there. Then we finally check in and the room is not updated, there was a few roaches and spiders crawling and at this point, my son and I are completely uncomfortable and ready to go, mind you were staying for 5 nights. I go back to the front and asked for another room, and the room the switch us to wasn’t no better but it would do. Service was mediocre. The staff wasn’t really friendly, and they had the nerve to be strict about additional guest. I would never stay here or recommend this hotel to a family pet let alone a stranger! Very convenient as far as close proximity to most food options in the area. But book better if you can afford it because this hotel was giving more Motel than anything.

Wasn't all that, I didn't like sleeping on the beds, the covers were weird and I didn't trust the pillows either. I usually somewhat trust hotel reviews but I would recommend finding elsewhere better. Only stayed for a night for $50, but imo it was only worth $30. Someone left a soap wrapper on a towel that was on the side of the tub itself... should've taken a picture but forgot to.
