Route 66 Diner

Our cross country drive will not be complete without a stop at a Route 66 diner. Amazing service and delicious food. Portions were huge and dish is big enough to share. Bacon was perfect and hash could take a little more seasoning. Otherwise, this is a great local joint to dine in.

Gallup, this is what you call a Hidden Gem! 1st timers here and we LOVED IT!!! Saw other peoples food and had to come back the next day to try what we DIDNT order the first day! Service was Top Notch, Food was on point, the dining area is CLEAN!!! We DEFINATELY recommend this spot and will be back for sure when we're in the area! ???????????????????????????????? Keep up the good Job!

All I wanted was a good cup of coffee. What I found was diner coffee that was not worth finishing. I drink coffee of all sorts and this was pretty bad. I figured that I would give the chicken fried steak a try and biscuits and gravy. This is my go-to in most diners for breakfast. The biscuits were small and hard. The chicken fried steak was clearly frozen and heated. The gravy was okay at best. I see now that there are a bunch of positive reviews and this is not to negate their experience.

New Mexico green or red sauce never fails! The breakfast burrito I got was the size of my shoe, cooked to perfection. I took chorizo as my meat and I loved it. I could bathe in that red sauce. So smoky and delicious. The place look like it froze in time in a good way. Every bite was an experience. If you stop in Gallup - you should give it a try!

Stopped in for shakes that we promised the kiddos while taking @ramona_the_airstream on the route 66 east. Our server was wonderful, and her father was in for dinner who was also a joy to speak to. He taught us so much of his native culture and the history of the area. It was a great pit stop! Coffee was decent too.
