Rita's Famous Tacos

I have lived in Kerrville for 20 years and I love this place. It is perfect. Order corn tortillas. Bean and egg combo is always a winner. Their bacon is the best. (I usually get the Mexican Rita.)

Had to shelter there during another storm after the flooding. Decided to have breakfast. Chorizo and potato tacos with green sauce were fantastic. Coffee was fresh and hot. Great place to sit and watch the rain. Parking is on the street, so you may need to walk a bit, but it's worth it.

Awesome tacos!! Flavor from the first bite to the last. The salsa is great to add to any meal here.The food is made from fresh ingredients, so very tasty. Check them out , you will be glad you did.

I always had a great experience at Rita's in Kerrville. They have a newish person running cashier now and three times I have come in with her there and she does not greet you, she stares rudely until I talk and honestly she makes me feel like she has better things to do. Not sure Im coming back to this location because of her service. Foods great though and I will miss it but there is always Marys Tacos instead (not my first choice obviously) Edit: It's been awhile an dI figured I'd give it another shot. Same girl at the register. First she only gave me one of my two tacos I ordered. When I told her so she gave me a stink eye and put the second one in the bag (it was already made, she just didn't grab it the first time). After getting home I open my order and she gave me the wrong tacos. How that rude stupid girl keeps her job there is beyond me.

I was recommended this place by a friend when we went on a weekend trip. It did not disappoint! Even though there are other restaurants that we wanted to try and we came back on our second day because it was all good. The staff was friendly and helpful and tables are clean. they offer a large selection of all kinds of breakfast tacos. The tortillas are hand-rolled you can see an old lady in the back rolling them with a rolling pin. If your in the area, it's worth a stop!
