Rip Van Winkle Motel

Very impressed by the manager Nidhi Patel who commented on allowing some traveller's to stay for low rates or free those who have difficulty seeking assylum in Canada and sometime not having enough money to pay the motel. I am really impressed Ms Patel. Blessings..Good Karma.

This place is very dated and run down. We stayed in one of the cabins and the couch was so filthy we had to put a bed sheet on it to sit. There were also cigarette burn holes in the upholstery. The window AC units were also filthy. Would not recommend staying here unless you desperately needed a place to stay. Bed sheets didn't even fit the bed properly.

I love red dead redemption 2 and I saw this place and yeah rdr2 is the best game

Front desk was nice, a/c worked well, good location, pet friendly. But, cabin was very small, doesn’t look like pictures. No bathroom trash can, bugs in the shower and in the corners of the bathroom, spilt liquid in the bathroom cabinet, walls and floors dirty, chunk of hair on the bathroom floor.

decent motel for the area if your comparing to the other low income homeless shelters. You could tell that it was something back in the day and they do try to renevoate as time goes on.
