Pumpkins Place

I moved from Chicago about 15 years ago and currently live in Georgia. so whenever I take a trip to Illinois to see my family and friends, I always try to stop by pumpkins, but I noticed new faces and the food used to be good. I believe they water down there sauce I ordered the six piece jumbo wings with honey barbecue sauce I noticed the sauce is watered down. It’s not the same flavor that it used to be and the chicken was not fresh so I give this place a thumbs down I will not be returning.

Food is always fresh. Turkey Tips and honey barbecue chicken strips are delicious. Service is quick and prices are reasonable! Would recommend to anyone craving chicken or soul food!

Tried the gyro burger. It's more like a fusion of gyro and a burger. I did ask for everything, and they asked if I wanted cheese. I said sure. Maybe they'll treat it more like a burger. It had the best of both worlds. Not sure I like my tzatziki with mustard. I feel like the toppings should be separated and treated as different kinds of burgers. I was starving, and it was still pretty good, but different. I want to try their fried chicken next. Be ready!

Terrible, service. Only fried food items nothing on the grill. The cashier attitude is terrible at the beginning of the day. I wonder how bad it gets by the end of the day. Place is filthy

It's a hit or miss on which cook you'll get. The slim dark guy has no idea about sanitation or cleanliness. I've seen him digging in his ears as he's making an order. The old black lady cashier is no better. She takes in cash and immediately assists in making orders without using soap and water or gloves.
