Polar Donuts

We stop by the place every time we come to OKC. I love that when you walk in they ask if you want a free donut. Their glazed donut is hands down the best donut I have had. The Apple fritters are awesome. I love that it’s family owned and our kids the polar bear paintings out front. Wish they had another store in Tulsa. Don’t skip out on this place.

Donuts are amazing, staff is friendly. The owner on site is really friendly and welcoming. We’ve been coming to this place for 4 years now! Never gets old.

Employees were friendly and I was greeted as soon as I walked in and offered a glazed donut. Didn’t take them up on it, but should have because their glazed donuts were fantastic. I ordered a half dozen and wish I would have just gotten glazed. The old fashioned and long john weren’t great. The chocolate icing was extremely thick and overly sweet. Overall, I’d go back just for the glazed donuts.

Small mom and pop type shop. Came in from out of town. Walked in, they handed me a fresh glazed donut, free. Staff were friendly. Purchased a dozen donut holes. Great donuts. ????

Having just moved from Phoenix AZ, I have pretty high standards for donuts (BOSA, anyone?!). My visit to Polar Donuts was my first attempt to find a new donut shop, and it will also be my last. I can't even describe how #$%$&@^$ insanely delicious their glazed donuts are. And that doesn't even begin to cover all the creative and equally delectable other donut options they have, or the warm and familiar vibe each and every person working here has. I'm actually kind of in awe that all their reviews aren't five stars. My first thought was some of these reviews might be from a bitter, inferior donut shop competitor (okay, I know how unlikely that probably is, but FR.). My second thought was that maybe these reviewers had covid or something, and subsequently lost their ability to discern taste. Idk. I've given up trying to understand people. I digress. Go to Polar Donuts. You'll never need another donut shop.
