Pioneer Restaurant

Who knew I would get a delicious patty melt and a picture with Santa! What a Christmas miracle! Cash only so be aware of that. Had very friendly service and they have great french fries!

Online it said this restaurant open all day, but when we got there at 1:50pm, they were out of most of the specials and several of the sides and were told they have different hours closing at 2pm and know they need to update Google....as another patron came in and sat down, we decided to stay...we choose cheeseburgers and asked them to be grilled medium which the cook did a great job doing for us, but we felt the patties were frozen not freshly made, buns were not grilled with butter, and my mash potatoes were $2.99 for instant not homemade...hamburgers do not come with a side, so paid $2.99 extra for fries too...but the fries were the star of the plate! Crisp and hot! Nice iced tea and wait staff!!

Eggs were dried out and brought burnt corn beef hash to me I made her recook and. She took forever to come check on us and then the cashier couldn’t read the ticket .. I rate it a 3

Good basic food. Very good service. Fair prices. I used the restroom which is outside around the corner. I haven't seen a men's room that dirty since back in 1972 at an Esso station in northern Mississippi. No soap, no towels and this wasn't new dirt, this dirt has been there for awhile. I didn't say anything to the women at the checkout because she had to know. Nothing gets that dirty without the people working there knowing about it.

Oh my goodnezz.....this place is awesome. Everything on the hand written menu is delicious! You will love this place@!
