Pillar Lounge

Great place to hang out at. Come here with friends regularly for hours at a time. They used to have pretty bad sisha but they have since changed the brand and it's much much better. They also have really good refillable coffee. Great atmosphere with great music as well. Be sure to check out the ceiling tiles when you're here, and ask for bubbles and a pipe for a fun experience.

I love this place! Good vibes, really good hookahs, and the staff is amazing! They helped me put up a tile for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day, and it's still there, so every time we go, we try to sit near it so we can view it while enjoying our hookah. :)

The atmosphere was nice (though they do need to update their sound system so it's distributed evenly). Other than that, the people are nice, it's usually pretty quiet, I've never had any issues with parking or the quality of their product. Would recommend if you are into Persian-style hookahs in a non-Persian style atmosphere, or tobacco in general.

I didn't know where to rate this because I remember when they were a hookah lounge. Now it's a club with a cover charge. They kinda removed the charm of the place (local art, painted ceiling tiles, books) and replaced it with white walls, too much light, too loud music, bouncer, etc. Maybe I wasn't ready for the abrupt change. Definitely not the low key chill hangout it was, but might be good to go into if you are looking for a club scene, if they can actually decorate and get people inside. Can't say the cover is worth it, currently.

Used to be real chill and fun then I guess somebody else bought it and turned it into a loud and obnoxious hookah bar instead of a lounge. Definitely not worth it and completely destroyed the chill aspect of that specific lounge. I’d also say the general environment itself is less safe which also makes it less enjoyable. Enjoy the wrong Reading environment if you do go there.
