We wanted something local since this is our first time in this city and they didn’t disappoint. The customer service is top tier. Verrrrry friendly people. You can tell the locals eat here often and everyone was so kind. A random kid bought us a banana pudding and said it was his favorite and wanted us to try it. I thought that was the SWEETEST thing ever. As a POC it’s nerve wrecking to stop in some random town that feels like the middle of nowhere but I would come back here just for the welcoming atmosphere. As for the food, The menu was simple and to the point. It was My first time trying cowboy beans and I enjoyed them. The sides were simple nothing too exciting. The brisket was tender. Being from Atlanta we are use to more seasonings but different strokes for different folks. We pretty much finished everything on the plate and had room for dessert.

My son and I have a Tuesday or Thursday tradition. When mom works late, we find ourselves at Perry’s. Friendly staff, food that is good and priced right. If I ever mention going somewhere else, it’s a hard no from my toddler.

Delicious southern BBQ in a cozy atmosphere. Employees were friendly and helpful. I recommend the buttermilk coconut pie!
