This place is fire, get the empanadas. I say they couldn't get any better unless you go to the motherland, of course. We had the memelitas, oaxacan version of huaraches and the empanadas of huitlacoche (corn smut or fungi). Salsa could be a bit spicy but my lady appreciates the heat. Oaxacan food is an acquire taste, so if you are not used to it get get going because it is so good :) The owner is the one cooking it up so be patient, good food takes time.

If you ever need to eat Oaxaqueñan food in Vegas, this is one of the few locations that does it. I love going to Guelagetza, but it is 250 miles away. My mom and I have been looking for a Oaxaqueñan place for years and we finally found one! The ladies are very sweet, the tlayudas are great. They come with a bean/chicharrón mixture at the bottom, sliced cabbage, tomatoes, cesina, chorizo, tasajo, and of course, Oaxaqueñan cheese. My mom, sister, and nephew all enjoyed it. It's reasonably affordable too. If you're looking to get Oaxaqueñan mole, cheese, or bread, they also sell that in their store. I would high recommend this small mom and pop joint if you ever wanted to try tlayudas or Oaxaqueñan cheese.

I don't usually do this, and by this I mean going on yelp or Google reviews to ya know leave negative reviews. However, in this case it does deserve a negative review. I myself am a Mexican and I know how a champurrado should taste and what this lady gave me was like completely watered down champurrado. It had no taste and didn't taste anything like a champurrado. I'm not going to comment on any of the other things this woman sells because I didn't try it. She was a decent woman and wasn't rude. However, I'm sure there are other things in her store that doesn't taste like it should. All in all I wasn't able to return the item after taking a sip and I ended up paying for a drink that I threw out in the trash because it was seriously that bad.

I've been looking for Tlayuda so long. Finally I found it. It is an authentic Oxacanian food and very close. Well, the steak is kind of small but it is okay.

This place is absolutely delicious. While it doesn’t have the biggest space or selections, it is a welcoming place that makes me feel like I’m in someones home. Probably the most authentic Oaxaca food you can get here in LV. I highly recommend!! Been here two days in a row and will definitely be back.
