Paintsville Recreation Center

The playground is very nice! The restroom inside the rec center is always open! They have a fenced in play area for all of leash dogs, you just gotta clean up after them! Only one BBQ grill and two picnic tables tho so not much room for that. Over all I love this place!

The dog park has dog poo everywhere, no benches to sit on, no shade whatsoever (in the heat of the day you roast in the sun), no doggie bags in the holder for them.... not a pleasant place for your fog AT all. I'm sure they could manage to set aside some money to fix it up and be a nice place.

It has a nice walking track with a small workout area with four basic pieces of equipment. There is a pleasant sitting area from which you can watch your kids play on the playground. I think it is also considerate of the center to have designated pet areas, which are fenced in and split between small dogs and larger breeds.

Very nice place! The playground is nice and the whole place is well maintained. Only complaint is that there aren’t any benches closer to the playground for people to sit.

Favorite place to take our children when we come up and visit from Florida! It needs a little TLC and some what broken or rusted pieces... And careful for puddles at the bottom.. other than that it is great!
