Osteria Rustica Italian Restaurant

The atmosphere is very relaxing and cozy. It is a perfect local date night destination. Our appetizer was fresh mozzarella with tomatoes bursting with flavor. I ordered risotto with sautéed shrimp and it was cooked to perfection and the risotto was bursting with flavor. I am from south Alabama, so I am very particular about how shrimp is prepared and I have to say this dish was exquisite. My boyfriend ordered the veal with linguini. He enjoyed very much but wished it was a larger portion. For dessert we had the vanilla chocolate cherry gelato, which really hit the spot. Cappuccino did not even need any sugar, it was so good. Our waiter was Dillion and he did an amazing job. The owner came to the table and greeted us, which is very rare, but made a great impression on us. The restaurant was very clean and sanitary. This is definitely going to be our favorite Italian local restaurant for date night.

This culinary experience approaches perfection.

Found this gem hidden away in a secluded corner which took me back to living in Italy. Pleasantly surprised & delighted with its old country charm, cozy 8 tables and personal attention from chef and staff. It is fine dining, white table cloth, napkin over the arm and excellent service. As I discovered it by accident, I wasnt "dressed" to sit down & enjoy, so I asked if I could takeaway and they graciously prepared as if I were seated being served. Got home, "pretty plated" and ate outside. Good sized portions. From the first bite was impressed. First, the smell of fresh herbs and fresh made in house tomato sauce was incredible. We both had the Raviolini Dell Osteria Al Aragosta with fresh in house made ravioli stuffed with lobster, topped with shrimp. Delicious from first bite to cleaning the sauce with the housemade bread. We also had the tiramisu. A delicate presentation of chocolate, coffee & melt in your mouth deliciousness. My best discovery this week! Genuine Italian cooking, cozy trattoria atmosphere, excellent service and tucked away in a quiet little corner is a perfect location for an intimate (small) special occasion, date night or just make reservation for authentic Italian dining. First impressions are memorable & will most definitely recommend (and return) to enjoy the menu in house. There isnt an "order online" "pick up/delivery" option, but chef says if you call to make an order for pick up and you get the voice mail...leave a message so they can plan & prepare your order for pick up. Its a small restaurant - totally worth it. Grazie mille

Recommended to eat here by a friend who is a fantastic chef and Italian gourmand. We were not disappointed. We were wonderfully welcomed in and enjoyed the atmosphere, in the small but quaint, quiet corner restaurant with soft music playing. Floriano and the rest of the staff were fantastic. They told us about the menu and the specials and what would be good choices for the evening. The gnocchi appetizer was fantastic as were our entrées of rigatoni Alfredo, ravioli and the veal scallopini. I’ve been to Italy as well as many real Italian family restaurants across the country. This was a fantastic Italian meal on par with anywhere else around the world. We can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!

Really wonderful dining experience. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and presented beautifully. The menu options are limited but everything we had was fantastic. Highly recommend. ????
