Old Crown Inn

Delicious food, good service and a fantastic play area, loads of seating tables outside. Atmosphere inside was very cosy also. Would go back. The kids meal was a very good size, unlike other places we’ve been.

Not been here for years but called in as cycling past. Superb Steak pie, homemade chips and mushy peas. Will certainly be calling back soon! Thank

A unpretentious little country pub well worth the visit, just make sure that the River Trent isn't flooding. Cosy interior, friendly staff, usual pub menu at good quality and reasonably priced. As an unexpected bonus a couple of geezers were quietly playing old rock songs on their guitars. We really enjoyed our evening there.

Nice historic pub with a good bit of character. A few ales on, about four or five. Large outside area with a garden and decking. Swings etc to keep smaller children happy.Keeps hens and owls. Does food . Plenty on during week and weekend. Live music outside in the summer. Presumably does overnights but definitely phone ahead. Short drive off main road. Recommended. ???? ???? ????

We had our daughters Christening at the old crown inn and I can’t recommend it enough. The staff were so kind and couldn’t do enough for us, the food was outstanding! Everyone was commenting on what a lovely pub it was. A proper traditional English country pub, the best service we have ever had! Fantastic!!!! 5+ stars, an asset to the community.
