Oishi Japanese Sushi Bar and Grill

The food was delicious and the service was great. I went here with two friends we ordered 2 entrees and a dish for each and the bill was a little more than 70 bucks. Sushi was delicious, and the portions of the other two dishes were huge. The only thing that I didn't like was the gyozas because they deep-fried them, and I'm used to a soft texture.

Stopped here for some food while visiting Mobile/Spanish Fort Alabama. We were greeted promptly and quickly seated. Waitress took our order and drinks and let us know how long food would be. Drinks were free refills. They serve hibachi, but it's not a live hibachi demonstration. Overall, the food was great. The fried rice could use some work as it was pretty plain. We ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi (came with soup, salad rice, veggies), kids shrimp hibachi (came with soup, rice and veggiee), kids katsu meal, and a California roll. The California roll was a good size and tasty. Very well put together. The chicken soup and salad with honey mustard was probaly the best I've ever had at a hibachi place. The steak was juicy, and the shrimp were perfectly grilled. My son enjoyed his katsu chicken and ordinarily not a fan of sushi, but he tried the California roll and asked for more. The waitress forgot our extra side of fried rice, but she brought it out for us to take home. Im glad I was able to "hook it up my way" at home! I would recommend this place for a quick lunch or dinner.

I had lunch here this week with a friend, and we both ordered a couple rolls each thinking, we'll start with this and get another one while we talk. Oh my goodness! Our initial orders were SO fabulously huge we couldn't have eaten another bite! And they were absolutely delicious. I wish we had remembered to take pictures of not just the beautiful presentation of the rolls, but the size! Most places you don't get as much as you get here. FABULOUS SUSHI, very nice waitress, casual but comfortable space. I'll definitely be back to try the rolls I didn't have room for this time!

This is the best place for sushi! I usually get it to go just because I'm a trucker passing through. Oishi sushi restaurant been here for 4-5 years and is always consistently amazing! I got a Volcano roll (on left) deep fried and a Valentine roll (pink and red color) they are so huge! Also I’m adding photo of Oishi paradise (green and red color)and Fiji mountain, Odee Baba and Red Dragon.

Very clean, very friendly. Was served right away, the sushi chefs are amazing. The rolls was packed tightly, did not break apart picking up with my chopsticks and very big rolls. Money well spent and would return for multiple visits
