Nylon Capital Shopping Center

Its not a shopping center, or a strip mall, or anything whatsoever. It's one long condemned building with two restaurants right next to each other on the west end, and I suspect they are just barely hanging in. Sals, the Italian restaurant that anchors the west end wasn't even open this Monday evening when I went to the dollar tree around . Sals is a great place, and I consider it a Seaford landmark at this point, as I'm sure many do. They've got a good deal on Wednesday nights; a large cheese pizza for ten dollars . Next to Sals is Great Wall Chinese restaurant, which has been there for at least 25 years, and is the only Chinese place I'll eat at in the area. I also grew up one mile away and have been eating there for 25 years.... Perpendicular to those places is a newish Dollar Tree and a Cigarette Outlet. Both are what you'd expect them to be, but in my opinion they closed somewhat early. 6pm usually but earlier on Sunday and maybe a little later on Friday? It's hard to keep track of, especially since I don't smoke. At the far east end of the parking lot is a standalone Rite Aid, also what you'd expect. Standard drug store; Pharmacy at the back, some rows of over the counter medicine, and wildly over priced food and drink items. They are also a Western Union location but good luck with that, there's at least a 50/50 chance they'll tell you they don't have enough money, even before you tell them how much it's for....

Butler's Sewing Center closed shop, per their post on Facebook. 12/27/23.

Do not go there expecting woolworths to be there. There is a Dollar Tree a right aid a cigarette outlet and Butler's sewing store and a Chinese. Take out and sells pizzeria which is highly recommended.

Many childhood memories made there! Especially at the Woolworth Dept Store and "lunch counter"!

The future for this center is shining bright. The center is being totally updated as a multi-function center.
