North Dinning Hall is a happening place particularly for the students with amazing assortment of quality food on Campus for affordable price. You can have a great variety of food here - fried, baked, fast food, soft drinks, tea, coffee, deserts, ice creams and that too with ever changing menu options. The place has different type of seating arrangements too (individual or group). Huge Parking facility around. It's a wonderful place for food lovers????????????
I just know the dorm room plumbing is gonna be suffering tonight after the salad i ate here
So they nailed desserts out of the park! The gelato was absolutely delicious! The salad bar was nice including really good dressings, I did see a few bad cherry tomatoes. The pizza was pretty good especially for a dining hall and my daughter liked her waffle. I also think it was the best tatertot I've had in my life. There were also some tortilla chips with a dip recipe from another country that was amazing. French fries were much better than average as well. The eggs and sausage were ok. The burgers looked rough but I didn't have one (can't judge a book by it's cover), but the pasta with marinara and potatoes were pretty much not edible. Especially the pasta. There was also a thin sliced steak that was really dry. Lastly the drink cups are way to small. I doubt they'd care if you were a student and took your own cup in though. The place was absolutely packed though. With that said I went for an open house so they had regular students plus released a full auditorium of people to go eat at the same time which was crazy. I know a lot of people get the meal plans but one might consider just going with flex spending and using cash to get groceries and eat off campus. $2,000 is a lot for a semester, something to consider.
It was a nice-looking place with plenty of seating. There were fewer food offerings on the day I was there, so I can't speak to everything. The pizza was probably the worst I've ever had. It was tasteless, and the crust was like cardboard. They did have a dietary restrictions area, which is a nice thought, but the chicken and broccoli were bone dry. The bakery area was good. I tried cookies, strudel and a scone, all were delicious.
A little cramped when busy but the food is always good.
