Nail Focus

My bestie and I came here to get our nails done for her birthday. I got a pedicure and manicure. I asked for a basic French tip with a line of glitter underneath white. The pink part of the French manicure was blotchy and weird looking and I expressed my dissatisfaction and my nail lady did seem very receptive, and apologetic and tried to fix it. Thought the end result was still very cheap looking, the glitter lines were jagged. The nails are bumpy, and not smooth. I feel like I could’ve given that feedback after the second time she fixed my nails to the nail lady but by that time we have already been in the salon for 2 1/2 hours and I had to go home. My best friend had a different lady and she only had a manicure needing to be done and showed the nail server the photo she wanted which was basic green lines on the nail and she said she needed to pick something less complicated. She settled for an almond shaped French manicure with black on the tips, the nail lady proceeded to guilt trip her and said she is trying to hurry home to see her son before he goes off to college. She actually went home and re did the design herself to what she originally wanted which defeated the purpose of spoiling her on her birthday. I feel like the nail lady’s were very nice people and understanding but the results were not good. I’d also like to mention that the place did not look very clean at all. The sinks were dirty, they reuse nail scrubbers, the toe separators that were on my toes were taken and put back into the drawer in the cart for reuse, all the equipment including the rags had nail polish or dust all over it and did not look like it has been cleaned. My best friends towel that was on her table has been used previously and not been replaced which we could tell from the fresh nail polish. The people who work there are very nice, but it’s very expensive for the results I got let alone the environment and equipment is in dire need for a deep cleaning.

This was my favorite manicure ever! Vivian was sooo patient and kind, paid attention to detail, and made me feel super comfortable and taken care of :) I got tips with dip (shown in the photo) & can't wait to come back next time!

Spoiler alert: my nails fell off. my real nails. Fell. Off. ok so i went in to get a full set (of acrylic nails) and i was not too worried because i have had my nails done at least 50x before this. I had never been to this place before but the place i normally go to was closed and i decided to just go in for a walk in appointment. The lady was nice but as soon as she put primer on my nails, they stared to burn like crazy. they clearly don’t sanitize any of their buffing/ brushes or any of their equipment. I could tell the primer was bad because of the smell. It smelled like it had gone bad (like rotting) I told her i needed to wash it off but she said before i could wash my hands she had to finish doing my nails. She filed them down to my skin and repeated cut my cuticles with a nail drill. I was bleeding already and i went in the bathroom just to cry. I came back, and even after 3 washes my nails smelt like rot and were still burning like a chemical burn. She finished up my nails and at this point i was beyond dissatisfied. The paint was very splotchy and now i was sitting there with burning nails and bleeding cuticles all over. Every time she hurt me she would apologize, and then continue to cut through my nail, to the skin. I had her remove them while i was waiting for my friend to finish because i was in the most pain i have ever felt. I went home and my natural nails were GUSSHING blood and they completely fell off the next morning. I was bawling my eyes out. overall this was the absolute worst nail experience of my life. This was a few days ago, and i’m seriously considering getting a lawyer and filing a lawsuit if my original nails do not grow back. I told them i wasn’t going to write a bad review because she kept apologizing and worrying about a review, but after my nails fell off i had to. i beg you don’t go to this place you will regret it after you get an infection or if your nails fall off.

I was blown away by the result of my nails and how much time they took to make sure I was completely satisfied and very decent price! I will definitely be going back!

Vivian is amazing! Everyone here is really friendly! I've visited a lot of nail salons and this one is excellent. They give high quality service. My partner and I opted in for snowflakes on our toes for holiday season. We couldn't be happier!!!
