Mr. Bucks Oyster Bar

Ordered to go tonight. The young lady told me my order would take 20-25 minutes. I live just under 20 min north. When I arrived I was told my order was not ready. We ordered a beer at the bar while we waited..... then we ordered 1/2 dozen oysters to eat while we waited, waited on oysters, we ate them, then we waited. When our food was ready my wife was absolutely ready to go so we did not check the order. Upon arriving home we realized that we did not receive our side salad with the crab cakes. I ordered hamburger steak which was cooked perfectly but asked for the gravy, mushrooms, and onions on the side. I did not get the mushrooms and onions at all and my hamburger steak was covered in gravy. Last time I went was at lunch time and my server saw me wearing the branded apparel of my employer and absolutely would not stop questioning me about our services and what she should do with the problem she was having etc. Which made it impossible to hold a conversation with the new employee i had sitting across from me. Bottom line here is 2 out of 3 visits have been less than desirable, great food, poor customer service.

Friendly staff. Oysters are ok. Sara's pasta no so ok. But will go again. They had a limited menu. Our waitress was a charm. I give it a 7.5

Great food and great service. All the servers were really nice and accommodating to us and my father in a wheelchair. The food was excellent. Fresh burgers and fries and the kids loved the chicken tenders basket. The oyster sampler was really good with 3 different flavors and a side. For a great local place with great food, Mr. Buck's Oyster Bar is the way to go.

What a pleasant surprise! I expected the same old average quality Southern style comfort food, but turned out to be very good. The staff was super sweet and friendly, but very professional also. Try Mr. Bucks baked oyster sampler, I loved it. The hamburger steak was fresh and tasty. I'll be back for sure!

My family and I, visited this small restaurant on a Friday night. The inside was very noisy. We were seated quickly and our drink order was taken. In less than 4 minutes, we had our drinks and we ordered our food. Fifteen minutes later, our waitress brought out our orders... everyone's order was correct and the food was hot. Three of us, ordered seafood... didn't taste 'fresh caught'. It tasted more like frozen, prior to cooking. The staff was terrific and very friendly.
