Mott Haven Bar & Grill

Pretty excellent eatery with a twist. The location is in an elbowed section of the Bronx with a up and coming flare. The food is excellent and the staff are kind and friendly. The only drawback is they are severely under staffed so you will wait a minute or to for service but the food is pumped out with out delay. I would recommend this place as there are extremely limited options in the area and this place is refreshing. Very much so the beginning of the South BX gentrification process so look forward to a few more place like this to come.

A bar with very nice atmosphere and with a clear mission to their community, it represents how the South Bronx will be, once the gentrification hits the neighborhood. The waitresses were very attentive and pay attention to detail, which is welcomed. But the food .... omg, amazing tasting food, it’s so fresh and delicious. I’ve been coming here for years now and I hope the best.

Really good food! Had the fallafel, hummus & pita, as well as the highly recommended fried Mac and cheese balls and they were fantastic! I had a draft beer and my friend ordered their sangria, which was very basic. It just tasted like a dry red wine, barely any fruits however she says it was strong. My beer was kind of warm and flat. Service was very good, our waitress was very friendly and made us feel welcomed!

While I was in NYC, a friend of mine invited me here. He told me it is one of the famous food places in Bronx. It was for sure - I loved my chicken and waffle order which was one of the speciality of the cafe. Apart from that I totally loved the graffiti inside the place. My friend ordered the bronx burger and it was really good. The service was nice - loved the cool music played by the dj. #letsguide #burgers #chickenwaffles

I came here for brunch with my family and we all had a really good time. The food was amazing! Will definitely be coming back soon
