Morgan Street Burgers

Update 1/2/21 - This place is still GREAT! New Years camping at Meridian State Park and we always have to come in for Morgan Street Burgers but we started to get worried as we never saw them open from the day we arrived Monday evening 12/29/20. We checked several times and finally got someone to say they would be open on 1/2/2021 but with only 50% capacity seating on the inside. Once we arrived and after ordering we discovered today was their first day the inside has been open since before July 1, 2020 Today I ordered the double-meat with double pepper jack cheese, on the organic homemade bun with jalapeno cheddar.cheese, topped with LTPO nothing real special cause I love the flavor of the meat itself plus large order of fries for wife & daughter to split. The burger is always cooked perfectly with juices flowing down your arm when biting into it. With options for caramelized Dr. Pepper onions or cracked pepper bacon for toppings its just how big do you want this thing. My wife had a single with pepper jack cheese, bacon on the jalapeno cheddar bun and again get plenty of napkins. Unfortunately I did not take pictures cause by the time we got our burgers we consumed them before thinking about snapping pictures...but there are plenty from others.Camping with good friends at Meridian SP this was our 2nd trip to eat at Morgan Street Burgers. We came in on friday night when we noticed the "All You Can Eat Catfish" on Friday nights(5pm-8pm)as we drove thru on way to park. After experiencing the great catfish we decided that we had to try the burgers on way home, so freak`n glad we did. First of all you have to decide if you want single or double meat then cheese choices, next is the home made buns once i saw the jalapeño/chedder no reason to search any further, next all the possible toppings from Dr. Pepper caramelized onions to the peppered bacon, jalapeño relish, home made pickles then comes the hard part which one of the chefs special sauces are you going to try from sirracha or cilantro mayo's or mustards to flavored ketchups we are talking flavor over load so many choices but only one burger then comes the question do you want fries OMGoodness(just say no) else your afternoon will be spent in nap mode. A full order of the kennepec potatoes with chefs seasoning is probably one of the best fries you will ever eat(full order will feed table of 4) not sure what a kennebec potatoe is but all fries should be so lucky. I have to mention the burger itself while all the toppings are there to help enhance the burger the patty is by far the star It is cooked to perfection and the flavor of the meat is just overwhelming it makes your mouth happy. My eight year old loved her burger so much she said "dad it does not need salt or pepper and was really wet" (juicy). The other bonus was the young lady at the counter taking orders she was polite, inviting and just all around wonderful person to deal with. If your within 30 miles of Meridian this is a great place for lunch else you will have to wait for weekend cause they are only open 11am-3pm Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday with exception Friday nights catfish.

Amazing burgers and Friday night fish special! The chef makes his food from the best ingredients and is proud of what he creates. I am delighted in how great it tasted. I have eaten here a few times and enjoyed it everytime. On popular nights they get busy but the food is totally worth the wait!

Outstanding! A quick Google search on our Labor Day country drive brought us here. Glad we stopped. Cheeseburger with jala/jack cheese on an organic jala/cheese bun was really good. Fries to die for. Neat and clean little place. Bathrooms nice n clean. All around good experience. Y'all come.

Great burger joint. Buns are homemade, crispy on the edges, thin like flatbread, and soft on the outside. Fries are fresh and handcut daily. Pattiies are fresh, hand shaped and seasoned perfectly.

Great burger. Interesting condiment options. Just be sure to bring cash. They don't take cards. Just as an FYI, the meal below was $19.21.
