Mermaids Lounge & Eatery

Wonderful, pleasant service. Very good food. Oldies played Friday night. Sat on outside table. Great get away spot.

Was looking for a cute outdoor bar, the pictures on Google seemed promising. It was very sketch and nothing like the photos. Bartender was nice, drinks were cheap and strong. Had to leave because it just wasn't our scene.

Mermaids lounge is racist. Please shut it down. My cousin was killed at Mermaids Lounge this past friday, which is 8/16/24. Never had security had people under 21 drinking at the bar. She said this issue is rap music. Isn't her son the DJ for mermaids? The DJ smokes and drinks and does hard drugs.

Sign on the door said no saggy pants, I felt welcome. Then an hour later multiple people entered with their pants almost to their knees and no one said anything so I left. Service was good. Atmosphere ok.

Cool place to hang out and play pool and drink. Crowd at night, like 10,30, gets a little younger for my preference, but everyone I've met there were nice people. Bartender paul was awesome. Food was all good for bar food ( all fried foods, pretty much but tasted fresh) drinks made well,but limited mixes.
