Mangy Moose Cafe

11-15-2023 Today I had a fat and delicious breakfast. I had the moose skillet. I also had a biscuit with gravy. I had a large apple juice, black coffee and ice water. Everything was good!! 11-9-2023 I came back for a second time and they were once again out of biscuits. I’ve been really wanting to try them!! I ordered The Meaty Moose Omelette with country potatoes. I had a pancake as my side since they were out of biscuits. For my beverages I had iced water, a large orange juice, and black coffee. This place is a home run!! I stopped here last minute on my way to Escalon. The food here is amazing! The portion sizes are ginormous! I had The Moose Omelette with Country Potatoes topped with Cheddar Cheese. I also had a pancake as my bread option since they were out of biscuits. For my beverages I had black coffee, a large orange juice and iced water. The service was prompt, attentive and friendly. I’m so glad I found this place.

Good place to have breakfast with family and friends, the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. All the employees are very attentive and friendly. It has a parking lot.

The Mangy Moose is a Manteca staple when it comes to breakfast! Insane portions for generous prices, you will never leave hungry. The staff is always super welcoming and friendly. They run a busy restaurant but never feel panicked. Today, I had a scramble off the special menu. It came with bacon, ham, sausage, linguica, and two eggs served on top of country potatoes. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and it was packed with meat. Choosing the country potatoes was a smart choice because the onions and bell peppers added a lot of extra flavor and texture to the hearty dish! Usually, I feel guilty spending $15 or more on breakfast, but the amount of food you get definitely warrants the money spent here! Unfortunately I didn't get any food pics because we were way too hungry and simply forgot.

If you truly want an amazing breakfast this is the place for you! The staff, owner, menu, environment are nothing short of amazing. We typically go once a week and literally have the same thing every, single, time…it’s just that amazing! Never had a bad meal! Ask for green salsa…you can thank me later!
