Man Within Compass

We visited after watching our son play football. Small bar with great atmosphere. Lots of choices for drinks from ales to cocktails and all premium lagers much to my husband’s delight! The pub will often have food vans in the car park offering delicious street food from burgers to Nan in a bag filled with curry. They have a big outdoor seating area some of which is under cover. This is a proper pub & they often have entertainment on too. Would recommend a visit

Brilliant pub with a lively atmosphere that adults of all ages can enjoy. The Man within Compass has a large hardstanding car park and an overspill field, giving additional parking spaces during the dry weather months. The lounge & bar are both clean, tidy and welcoming areas, with a mixture of seating to choose from in both. There are also plenty of chairs & tables outside in the beer garden and marquees. Well behaved dogs are welcome throughout the whole venue. Which makes the pub a great place for refreshments after visiting neighbouring Cademan Wood. Food vans provide catering most Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. And the pub serves delicious hot pork and beef cobs on Sundays. The landlord, landlady & all of their staff really are up there with the best. Well, what are you waiting for? The pub is calling!

Very well presented pub. Great friendly atmosphere. Huge garden with kids play area. Excellent pop up, eat in or takeaway food vendors.
