Magic Soul Food

Absolutely delicious!! Magic Soul Food is southern and delightful.. ???? The first time I visited this place I wanted to write a review and share photos of this amazing food. But unfortunately, it was so good once I started eating I didn't stop until my plate was empty???????????. Yes that good ???? So I returned again and had the Mac& cheese , yams and Cat fish , which is fried to perfection , my fiancé had the salmon & shrimp , Mac& cheese, yams and greens also delicious ???? We couldn't be happier with our experience .Everything We Ordered was delicious ???? The food and also the service is amazing. Only problem the food is so good you will be going back for more all the time. Enjoy!!!

I don’t like to do bad reviews, but I was very disappointed. Craving soul food on a Sunday I ordered from here. I ordered over the phone and the young lady was helpful with answering all my questions and taking my order. I drove 22 minutes and the food was ready. I couldn’t eat the meal, everything was extremely salty. I had to trash the whole meal. I enjoyed the yams which ended up being my dinner. This place has potential, just lay off the salt!

My daughter was determined to find me some Turkey Wings! so here she went. The Customer Service was shaky at start. While the Collards & Corn bread was the most delicious on the plate. I found the Mac & Chz Not so good! The Red/Orange Velvet cake was a No! the icing makes the cake & it was a cheap butter creme taste. Turkey Wings did fall off the bone however I still can't get pass No Beans, Only Green beans! No Peas either. I tried it! ok not worth going back.

I was just passing thru while I wait to get my nails done, wanted some cold to drink I paid a pretty penny fir a small lemonade that taste like warm tap water... so disappointing Anywhere the service was good The young was super nice and friendly

So I decided to try this place after reading so many awesome reviews on here, but in my humble opinion this place leaves much to be desired. The woman that took my order over the phone was very pleasant. After taking my order she advised that the food would be ready in 20 minutes. I ended up waiting about 30 minutes. To top it off my order was wrong. I ordered baked chicken, candy yams, potato salad, and a side of Mac n cheese for my son. I ended up with fried instead of baked chicken and had to wait a few more minutes for them to switch it out. She did compensate me with an extra piece of chicken. When I sat down to eat the food I realized that she didn’t put any utensils in the bag. No fork, no knife, no napkins. Luckily I was home so it wasn’t that big of a deal. Now on to the food.... Baked chicken: Rating 2/5. It was sitting in a bed of chicken grease, broth, or whatever and tasted soggy. It was also a bit bland. I wasn’t a fan. Macaroni and cheese: Rating 3/5. It was over cooked. The noodles were soggy and the cheese was a bit burned. Potato Salad: Rating 4/5 No complaints here. Candy Yams: Rating 4/5 They were okay. Will I be back? I doubt it.
