Magdaleno's Restaurant

It was pretty good for my first time. I had a combination platter. The quesadilla was a little salty, but the Gordita was perfect. Service could have been a little better, more friendly and attentive, the parking is a bit sketchy but still worth it.

I came to Magdaleno's about three weeks ago with my grandma and a friend, and I had a great experience. Of course, not least because it's a mom-and-pop establishment, I hadn't ever heard of it until driving by it this month. I decided to order "[Option] 51" — a combination platter containing an enchilada, a quesadilla, a gordita, rice, and refried beans — it was fantastic. The salsas were just spicy enough to my liking, though I wish I tried to order some of the entrées with ground beef and others with chicken, rather than all three main courses having the same protein. The drinks' straws were also a bit too short for their cups when I came, but I have a feeling they were "small" because the cups were large. Either way, the service was wonderful, as the food came quickly after ordering, it tasted well, and I'd gladly return and try more from here!

I will freely admit to being a wuss when it comes to spicy food. I had one of each enchilada (beef, chicken, and cheese) with green sauce. My enchiladas were HOT but I loved every bite of them. My mouth is still on fire but it was well worth it - they were definitely among the most delicious enchiladas I've ever had. I also tasted the Ranchero steak and the flavor was fantastic!

Place is PACKED at 11:40 on a Friday. Good music, great atmosphere. Good is quite good, except for the queso. It tastes like someone melted velveeta cheese and put it in the bowl. Other than that, it’s great!

Really nice surprise to find this place! The food was Very Good! Great prices and friendly, fast service! I look forward to visiting again.
