Liberty & Union Ale House

If you are looking for a local fun place to eat, this is a great place. Awesome drinks. Many beers on tap. Many locals frequent this place, and that makes it a very inviting establishment. I highly remember you get the huge pretzel. You won't regret it.

WOW - sums up my experience here. I admit that, as a non-local, I wasn't expecting too much when I visited for a quick lunch stop one weekend afternoon. But I walked away as a fan! The pork nachos were amazingly fresh and crisp, with fresh corn-flour chips making all the difference. The chili was laden with beef for a hearty portion. And to round it out, my steak tips were cooked to perfection - something that can be easily-burned or overcooked if not carefully done. I think it's a place that can easily impress most patrons, given the unassuming location and quality of dishes.

We tried this restaurant two weeks ago. We noticed right away that it was a little noisier than other restaurants. While enjoying our delicious meals I realized why this place is a little noisier. Everyone in my line of sight, both in the dining area and the bar, (at least 30 to 35 people) were all talking to each other. I didn’t see one person on their cell phone. There were families and couples all eating and talking together. It was Wonderful!! So delicious food, great service and a pleasing atmosphere will be bringing my husband and I back again and again!

I took my 14 year old Goddaughter here for her birthday lunch and it was nice! She enjoyed it and wants to come back, so that is a great recommendation for me. The food portions were generous and the food was tasty. We enjoyed splitting the dessert!

New restaurant opening serving slightly elevated pub food at a slightly elevated price. Family atmosphere. Food is good. Service was friendly. Parking is right across in the munincipal lot. Bar is well stocked with various beers on tap, and an above average selection of spirits including cognacs and scotch. Will go back.
