Level One Bakery

I read the reviews before I sent my parents to try out the pies well to their surprise. Their sweet potato pie was mixed with pumpkin pie that was told to my dad about the ingredients. Well, they tried it and they were so disgusted by it. My mom tried to put it back in the oven to see if that will work the next day but for $16 was a waste and they had to throw it away. Whoever put these reviews on here about it was the most fantastic sweet potato pie they ever had it must’ve been a family member or friend because the sweet potato pie was disgusting especially coming from an Ellery couple that has always made sweet potato pies from back in the day that was trying to give this company the benefit of a doubt just to try it because they can’t make them anymore because of age, but this was definitely the worst pie. They ever tasted. I had to put this on their review because I don’t want anybody else to be misled

This place is amazing! My sweet tooth was calling me and google brought me to this place...turned out to be a gem. I met two people who I think were the owners and they were very nice and welcoming. There’s a wide variety of items but I really had my heart set on macadamia cookies (one didn’t make it into the photo). Everything was delicious! A huge surprise was the red velvet cookie (devoured on my drive home therefore not photographed), which came with chocolate chips and macadamia! Will be back soon!

Great to see the bakery was still open. I had a request from my 96 year old mother in law for some bread pudding. In my mind there's only one place too go for the best bread pudding and that's Level One. Thank you she really enjoyed the bread pudding. Looking forward to seeing you again.

I’ve been coming here since I could remember lol. Her cookies r amazing the chocolate chip walnut r my favorite! I love her she’s so sweet n her service is excellent it always feels like a piece of home. U get a good ole slice of southern hospitality????????
