Leominster House of Pizza

A little bit more expensive $5-6 more than other pizza places in the area. Food was made quickly and pickup was easy. Crust was a little lackluster and not a ton of bacon on the pizza. Not a bad option overall here in Leominster, but there are better ones around.

On Friday (9/28/2023) I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a large steak and cheese sub with grilled peppers & onions, extra cheese, and ketchup and mayo. The prices were ridiculous right off the bat but we decided why not, its a small business and ordered from them. NEVER AGAIN. DO NOT GO HERE. Upon arrival, (about an hour wait from calling, pretty typical) the pizza was ICE COLD and the crust on the pizza was completely black and burnt. At this point I was already upset so I decided to go to bed and eat the sub for lunch the next day. To preface this next bit I have an ALLERGY to mushrooms and I cant eat them or I’ll have intense stomach pain. The next day for lunch I go to warm up my sub and I take a bite of it (silly me, assuming it would be correctly made the way I ordered it right?) and immediately taste mushroom. I spit out the sub and opened it to see that it was not only COVERED in mushrooms it also had no ketchup or mayo, virtually no cheese, and no grilled peppers at all. My husband was super upset (as he should be) because obviously thats not what i ordered. We called them to give them a chance to rectify the situation, he explained what happened (albeit he was a little agitated) so I took the phone and I started explaining that I cant eat mushrooms and I had to throw away my $13 sub that I took ONE BITE from and it didn’t seem fair that they get to keep our money from a mistake THEY made. The girl who answered the phone was very nice and she said that she’d call her boss and get back to us on what they could do. We waited for over 2 hours for a call back that never came. The situation never got rectified and now im out $35 because they can’t seem to get their act together. After reading other reviews I see that this is a common problem at this establishment. My company orders at least $300 in pizza and sides every week for our staff and safe to say I will NEVER be recommending this place or ordering from here ever again. In fact, I will be telling everyone i know to avoid this place like the plague. Nasty food, Nastier customer service. They don’t even deserve one star in my opinion. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

My first time there. So polite & friendly. So clean and delicious. They clearly take pride in providing affordable food to our community.

Three orders in a row have been messed up. This was it for me. A 10-15 minute order turned into 30-35 minutes. My fries were barely cooked and my instructions for my pizza were not followed correctly. The pizza hadn't even been started by the time I got there 10 minutes after my call. It's a real shame. I used to eat here twice a week and I loved it. I don't think I'll be going back any time soon, if ever. I'm saddened by the drastic drop in quality over the last few months.

I have been going here over 40 years (???? shhh!!!) I have great memories of LHP. Walking there with my sister in the summer to get a sub for lunch, when it was across the street (next to lil Peach). I remember the original owner and how many people were so sad when he passed away. I can honestly say though… that the food is still just as good as far back as I can remember!!! Love their pizzas, subs, salads. I don’t think there is anything that I have gotten that I didn’t like. I can also say that they have never messed up an order for me. Whether take out or delivery. I would give 5 stars but I’ve found a few people to be rude on the phone while taking orders. I understand if you’re busy but you can still be friendly! ***UPDATE*** can you please update your prices in the online menu? They are way far off now. I was quite surprised when the delivery got here. Thank God I had extra money!
