Lakeview Hospital

Not a good experience I've been here since Monday it is the dirtiest hospital I've ever been in and they have cameras in the rooms . Most of the staff was not caring properly but a few was kelly in icu was great and Oliva and Shana in the er and the lady who took my blood Tuesday morning in room 406 they were really great but the 4th floor is not good especially Monday night when we was in 406 I will never come to this hospital ever again and I will never bring my family here

I live in Tangipahoa parish so I drive a few extra miles to use Lakeview Hospital. I’m 74 so I’ve been a patient in this hospital on 3 different occasions for 3 to 5 days. I also use them for tests. I find them to be both professional and caring. Most of the staff have a smile when they greet you. That may seem small but when you’re ill enough for a hospital it makes a difference when the staff is pleasant. During my different stays there the nursing is more than adequate. No one wants to be in a hospital but if its necessary Lakeview makes you comfortable as possible.

The hospital staff has been fantastic. You really feel their compassion and care. Everyone has been kind and helpful in getting well. Everything is clean and well taken care of. This has been as good of a hospital experience one could have!

Horrible experience. I have a fractured Tibia/Fibula fracture, shaft. My doctor was excellent. The room was filthy, every time my IV drip started beeping I would have to contact the nurse to stop the horrific noise, my pain medication was not brought to me at the times it was due unless I contacted them, after I was in excruciating pain. I was taken there by ambulance and that is the only reason I was there. I the future if ever needed medical care I on my own will never return there. Under staffed and filthy room and restroom.

The 3rd floor is absolutely amazing. Just had my baby here and the nurses are the best. They were on top of everything and safely delivered my baby girl. She stayed in the NICU and took such good care of us! This is my hospital of choice!
