Kobe Japanese Steak & Seafood House

It was packed for a Thursday evening but we were still seated quickly and service was outstanding. Our food came out fast and the waitress was very attentive even though she had a lot of tables to wait on. We sat at a table because the grills were packed but my family still enjoyed the environment and especially the food. We will definitely be back!!

First, I ordered over the phone and waited the allotted time for pick up. Upon walking to the counter, my order wasn’t ready and told me that they didn’t have a roll advertised online. For another 2 sushi rolls I had to wait 30 minutes for them to complete my order (but not after I had to tell them what was in the roll)— at that point I should’ve kept my money. The order was wrong and don’t order vegetarian because you will get beef! I ordered the miso soup which was broth with one scallion and no tofu pieces. The food was so cold I thought it came out of the fridge and when we called the owner hung up mid sentence! When we called back she asked “had we looked at it before leaving” both bags were tied up like a canned jar sealed for freshness. This was the absolute worst service I received and had to cook chicken tenders for dinner. Especially after paying over 67$… mind you this was for a birthday dinner! #birthdayruined

My daughter and I arrived around 6:00 on a Friday night and we were seated at the Hibachi grill immediately. The service was great and we received our drinks and sushi roll very quickly. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. She brought out a thin miso broth soup and a crispy iceberg lettuce salad with a ginger dressing in a progressive manner. The chef arrived shortly after we ordered and began to make the fried rice. He confirmed everyone’s orders and began having fun. My daughter had steak and scallops that he seared and cooked perfectly. I ordered fillet, lobster, and shrimp. Very delicious! They cooked with an herbed butter that makes everything melt in your mouth. It’s fun eating right from the grill. My daughter and I also caught a few pieces of chicken that the chefs always want to toss into your mouth. He wasn’t at all pushy about that and it’s part of the fun! We had a great daddy/daughter date and both brought home boxed leftovers ????

Almost always go for birthdays with the family and they never disappoint. They are a bit more on the expensive side, but the service is always good. The chefs always have jokes and it’s very entertaining.

Quite pricey. But does not disappoint for special occasions like birthdays. The chef is entertaining and kids enjoy it.
