Atmosphere of after church eatery, wait time for a party of five, ten minutes. Ordered our food, started a conversation, and food was being brought to the table. Fast, friendly, delicious food! Steak and eggs, French toast, eggs bacon, pancakes and bacon, darn brain fart cannot remember what my other two ordered! Our family of five (three adults, two teens) cost us under $65, including tax and tip, reasonable.

It's been a great restaurant for as long as I can remember. Good simple food, decent prices, and great service. If you're passing thru Monroe, NC, it's worth your time to stop in.

My new favorite place for simple good food. The staff are always prompt and very friendly and attentive. The food is very good. I love the chicken pita, fried squash, hamburgers and flounder. Yes, they will do slaw cheeseburgers, BTW. Awesome stuff. And, I love the older diner experience complete with a nice selection of late '50's and early '60's music playing at an appropriately background volume.

Food was good, though a little more pricey than I expected for a diner. The chicken strips were hand breaded and very flavorful. The service was fantastic. Overall, a good experience

Recommended by a co-worker. Monroe location. The place looked old. Not in a good way. Dirty and outdated. A real "hole in the wall". But experience has taught me that these kind of places sometimes have the best food. Not the case. Sausage gravy looked and tasted like out of a can. Nothing else stood out. Folks seemed friendly. Service was fine.just really dirty looking and nothing special.
