CUSTOMER REVIEWS
Today-Main Customer!] I normally go to Julie's nails for Pedicures, and today I was treat like a second class citizen! There was a new guy working at the salon and he poured Acetone all over my feet while rubbing hardly across my nails. I asked nicely if he would get a new cotton ball as it seemed it was time for a new one. Once he trimed my right foot and began to trim my left foot, he asked if I wanted the left foot trim more. I expressed that I wanted them the same length. He pulled both of my feet together and started to compare ???? He turn towards his co work and began to speak in his native language. I asked what did you say. " Mims main customer". He stated you act like you don't want me to do your toes. I asked why do you think that. He informed me because you are looking at your toes. I informed the man, " I just meet you and I should be able to look at my toes! He takes his gloves off, and states I am not doing her. I asked for a towel so I could leave, and he asked " why do you need a towel. I grab the towel, asked how much I owe and I left. No one apologized for his behavior or my treatment. I was a regular customer and will never return!
I used to come to this nail salon regularly when I lived close by 5+ years ago. I was in the area and decided to have my nails done there and scheduled an appointment a few hours in advance. I was nearby and decided to go ahead and pop in. It was not crowded, but all employees were attending to clients. I shared I was early, but was fine with waiting. The lady, who I recognized from years ago, seemed quite bothered that I was early. She let me know 3 separate times that it would be 30-40 minutes before I could be seen. Each time I said it was fine and let her know it wasn’t a big deal. I knew going early would likely mean waiting. It was quite apparent she had a great relationship with the regular patrons she saw while I was waiting. She was not willing to reciprocate even a fraction of that same cordial energy towards me. She did have me soak my nails during the waiting period, but I almost was made to feel like an inconvenience. I’m generally laid back and understanding, but her behavior and lack of personality was truly unacceptable. I will not be back to Julie’s again.
My gel nails chipped after 2 days. Really unhappy with this. It was my first time here. While I was getting my nails done another lady came in and said her nails had chipped after a day and they were fixing hers. The people were friendly, but pointless to get them done here if the polish won’t stay on. Gel usually lasts me 2 weeks before I start to notice any chipping.
This picture was taken almost a week old. But the nails still look amazing .
Definitely recommend them, very professional, meticulous work and fair prices.
