Jowdy’s Fish Castle & Daq Shaq

Quaint and unassuming, don't blink or you'll miss this little place. We drove 35 miles on a whim based off of reviews and have zero regrets. Food was hot, fresh, and clearly made to order. Some of the best catfish we've ever had and the Cajun seasoned fries- on point ???? Daiquiri was so cold and refreshing on this hot summer day with just the right amount of alcohol; can't recommend the Pina Colada flavor enough. We will definitely be back.

This is the second time I’ve gotten sick and experienced indigestion as well as bloat from eating at this place. Sometimes what appears to taste good may not be good for you. This place is not clean and it is obvious the frying oil is not being regularly changed. We as people don’t know how people are processing our food. These people can’t possibly be cleaning the fish prior to cooking it. It’s better to prepare your food at home, that’s the only way to know exactly what you’re eating and putting into your body, not to mention, how it’s being processed. I will NEVER eat here again. Never AGAIN!!!!! I have been up all night feeling SICK!!

Catfish and shrimp basket is amazing! Flavorful and fresh! The daquiris are tasty too. I didn't even mind that we could only get food through the drive thru. WORTH IT! We will be going back.

We ate lunch there today for the first time and it was great food was freshly made when u order it people were nice great place to eat at anytime of the day they bring your food out fresh and hot love this place we will be eating here again for now on if you like real catfish this is the place to go

I got the Fish and shrimp basket the fish was okay I guess shrimp was honestly better then the fish to me didn’t like the tartar sauce at all which was crazy because I love tartar sauce best thing on the plate was the fries and pepper also it didn’t come with bread which was crazy but I guess that’s a Dallas thing because every fish place in Dallas give you bread with it I wish they had a menu outside somewhere before you pull up to the window instead of expecting people to just know what they want and have never been here
