JJ's Down Home Cafe

Great food. The plate I had a ate leftovers 2 more mornings. Place is clean and tidy. Has yellow walls. I'm just not a yellow guy. Waitress was timely, friendly and meal was out pretty quick.

Great find using Google Maps. This small town main street style diner is a total blast from the past but in a good way. Everything about it is a tribute to all main street diners especially the friendly staff. I am sure they knew we were not locals yet they treated us like locals. The food is very good with large portions. The coffee was great and my cup was kept full. The restaurant is in an old store front but is well maintained and kept clean. You can tell it is a local favorite.

Service was sweet but slow, partly because they had several big groups. Eggs were OK, bacon very good and the breakfast bowl needed some juice so we ordered gravy to put on it. The cinnamon rolls were good. Staff was sitting at a booth by checkout stand on smoking side. Might be why they were so slow on waiting on us

Great food and staff. Old building small town cafe and all its charm. Our family members eat here often.

We found the honey hole ?? Well, homemade apple butter hole. ????The Breakfast special includes 4 big, thick strips of bacon and a half order of biscuits and gravey. Yep, that's a HALF order ???? Our server actually made the apple butter and it is the best I ever had and was a delight.
