Jade Chinese Restaurant

I have been living in the area for a few years and have been wanting to try this place. I decided today would be the day. I went in and placed my order. It was a decent experience. The lady that assisted me was pleasant. My daughter needed to use the restroom and it wasn’t that great. It could use some cleaning and the toilet paper was out. The overall place is older and a bit rundown. Renovations cost big money right now so I will not fault them for that. The dinning area was clean. The food was ok. Not overly seasoned so my daughter was happy about that. I got the chicken wings and shrimp fried rice. There wasn’t much shrimp and it tasted basic but not terrible. Another issue is that I found a blue rubber band in my food. That can’t be good but because I’m not super impressed by the taste I will not deduct a star for that. Overall it’s not my favorite, but my daughter liked it a lot. I say give it a try.

We have been patrons for several decades. It had been a while since ordering from here, but did so last week. I was so very pleasantly surprised!! The crab Rangoon was nice and hot, crisp but light. Best I have had. Honestly and I order them often from all over!. House lo mein was flavorful. The veggies and meats were cooked just right. My family got the sweet &sour chicken. They were cooked well but light and crispy as well! So much food in each order too!! We will be ordering here much more often!

Sesame chicken doesn’t taste sweet, honey or nothing. Horrible experience for my 1st time eating today. Plate should have been $7 not $9. The sweet tea is the Good

I came here for the first time in 20 plus years today and it was good. I did notice a slight increase in price but that is to be expected these days. I got the lunch special pepper steak and I felt like the serving was fair. Maybe they should include an egg roll to make it seem worth the price. Still I will be back. Kc

The food is good, but the owner should consider taking out a bank loan and do some renovations. The place looks horrible and nasty. I doubt if I ever come here again.
