Jacks Restaurant

Like something you'd find somewhere out in the country. I came across it accidentally in maps en route to Hillsborough proper. A good, basic breakfast type place but I think they're open for lunch as well. Four different 'combo' options. All sorts of different side choices as well. Eggs were either large or XL. Either way, they were big. Bacon was perfect, just rigid enough without being crispy. Perfect overall to what I'd expect.

Mom and pop. Literally. Mom and pop place to eat at. Reviews are good but go by and see the people in there. People = good food. They have people. I went there today for the first time in 10 years or so. Ate the western omelette and oh my goodness the yummy! The staff is sweet. Because -family ran restaurant. I’m headed back soon.

Never had eggs this bad before. The texture was very strange. I asked if they were powered or something. The nice lady said they were cage free eggs and I might not be use to good eggs. Ummmmm hmmm well ok I guess I'm not. And the fast food hashbrown thing at a sit down restaurant? And it's not even fast food quality. Bacon was so-so. Now the only good thing the buttered bread/toast was really good. The place could use a real thorough cleaning. The cabinet table where the drink machine is was disgusting with dirt/grease. Spraying the whole area with some cleaning product and letting it sit for 20 minutes would be a good idea. And when I went to the dirty bathroom and lifted the seat it just fell to the floor...smh Almost gave a 2 star bc the staff was actually really nice. But not nice enough to overlook everything else...

Nice little diner style restaurant. We had the breakfast sandwich with a side of bacon. It was yummy and very reasonably priced. Friendly staff and a very relaxing atmosphere. Gives the feeling of a local favorite.

We just ate breakfast here for the first time. I had a blueberry waffle and bacon and my husband had eggs over easy with grits and bacon. The waffle was delicious, my husband said his eggs and grits were delicious as well. I should have asked for crispy bacon but that’s on me. We will definitely be back to support this local restaurant. The price was good too!
