J.W. Snack's Gulf Coast Bar & Grill

This is the first time Ive went here and been disappointed. I got the seafood platter. Food was burnt. What they call catfish fillets was actually nuggets. Im posting pic. Hopefully yall will see this and help whoever was cooking this day 9/14/23 @1pm. Your server was awesome. She did a great job.

This place is a gem! The decor is kitschy, but really well done (to me). Staff are super friendly. And helpful. I had the ribs, the pork bits (appetizer) and pecan pie a la mode. Well made. The ribs - especially - were tender and well made. Leah - my waitress - was friendly and had a real twinkle in her eye. Passing through a small town, this was an almost magical experience…! Thank you JW’s! Hope to be back one day. ?????????????????

Service was good and people were friendly. It's a nice atmosphere, especially for watching the game. The food was disappointing. Very underseasoned, and lacking in overall flavor. This went for the prime dip, as well as the Cajun sausage my wife had. I was pretty shocked they didn't put some kind of seasoning on the prime rib they used for the dip. Too bad since the meat itself was really good. The Cajun sausage was bland and lacked spice or spiciness. Which was a shock for a Cajun sausage. For the expense, I won't be going back anytime soon.

First time visit. In town hunting and looked it up online. Had great reviews and they did not disappoint. All of our food was great. Ribs and fish and chips. Great food, atmosphere and great waitress

The brisket is one of my favorites along with fried okra and cajun fries!!!! Their sausage with peppers is also good. The barbecue sauce is amazing!
