Sadly I read the negative reviews after I dropped my machine off. My experience was the same as some others on here. There is no customer service. First visit there I bought one of their machines and it was like I was a bother to be served. My other machine was getting fixed when I picked it up and got it home after paying way more than what they quoted me cause of extra parts that they didn’t even call and approve with me! On top of not fixing the initial problem with the machine! Now I have to drive all the way back there and hope they make good on it! Never ever go here! Don’t waste your money! I’ll be returning back to Snyder in york! I’m from Lancaster so I was hoping this place was gonna work out !!!
Never thought I could afford the BERNINA quality, but I was given a fabulous deal on a long arm machine, plus the very knowledgeable representative threw in ALL the bells and whistles that I longed for, for free! I couldn't be happier. They will set it up for me and give instructions also, plus come to my house for any maintenance!
I’m so happy that I found this sewing shop. They took good care of my long arm quilting machine. They fixed it in two days and the cost was so afordable!!! The other shop that I took it to the day before I found this one told me they couldn’t look at it for six weeks, and couldn’t guarantee that they could fix it, and they even told me I will probably need a new part and that obviously was not true. I certainly will bring all my sewing machines to Hinkletown sewing shop….I don’t mind the 45 minute drive either the country out there is absolutely beautiful!

Very unprofessional!! When I dropped the machine off we went over what needed to be done and the cost. I had asked when I picked it up if they could show me how to thread it again and watch me do it a few times as it has been several years. When picking the machine up the price was double what I was initially told. I was not contacted about this and the for the replacement cord (the surprise cost) was much much thinner than the original one. I then asked if he could show me how to thread it and watch me do it. The man was holding a wiggly baby, and threaded the machine. I asked if I could do it and he said no. I said can I video you doing it and he said No he would leave it in there so I could see it. Not at all like the experience I had at my previous dealer in another state. I love Bernina but find a different dealer even if it is a drive.
