Visit Hick's Tamales for good tamales, the owner has been in business a long time. He was friendly and even showed my family around the restaurant. The food was out of this world delicious. You wouldn't expect anything else from a man who has been in business a long time. Highly recommend

The people that come from Texas or other places out West need to stop comparing our Southern tamales to yours it's not the same thing. Thanks for the feedback Karen.... I mean Andy.

Oh man - can’t say how awesome this place was. Persist in trying to get the nice man to open the door or window for you and be rewarded with the best tamales I’ve ever had. The sides were also outstanding, especially the slaw.

Very quiet unassuming place in Clarkadale....Drive up window....ordered 6 tamales to go and they were very tasty....they weren't the size of regular tamales but they were still good. I'd like to try the rib tips but they didn't have them that day.
