Hickory Pit BBQ & Burger House

I would usually rate the Hickory Pit a 4.5 however the last couple of times I've bought the Loaded Baked Potatoes instead of Brisket on top I've gotten fat & gristle. Every time we go, its $31... So its not like a cheap lil plate. Over half of my "meat" topping was fat and unedible, it was the same with my husbands but he just threw his out. I hope they will take this and stop doing because I really do love this place. Also I have the pics of the fat and gristle so they can see just how much was on my potato.

Delicious food. Tried the breaded catfish and it was awesome. Sweet tea was perfect and overall just made us feel welcome. 10/10 do recommend letting the cooks pick your dish for you they absolutely did not lead me astray!

The food was good. I had the chopped beef sandwich and a regular baked potato. It was a little pricey, but then again, anywhere you go is getting pricey! It was good though.

Delicious, this is the best bbq ribs and sausage and okra we have ever had! The bacon cheeseburger is also good and huge! But the bbq is the best and homemade sweet potato pie! Bring your appetite large quantities!!
