Hibachi Japanese Steakhouse

We had a really nice experience sitting in the main dining area. The service was excellent, the food fresh. I tried a couple of rolls made to order, my husband had the chicken and crab noodle hibachi dish. The signature sushi rolls are 6 pieces each. The hibachi dishes are large portions with soup and salad added in. You can substitute fried noodles for rice for a small fee. The green tea was fantastic - fresh brewed from loose leafs and served in a pot, rather than tea bags. Coming back!

Very rude manager and the food that tastes disappointing. My experience started out fine, but quickly went downhill. While preparing the rice for myself and another customer sitting across from me, the "chef" had let it set stationary for too long and ended up leaving it with a burnt taste, while other portions weren't even cooked. The nice waitress did try to help by replacing it, but a cook in the back still didn't prepare it properly. I kindly asked for noodles instead, because the rice wasn't worth the wait. The cook next to our seating area overheard the issue and took it upon himself to make the noodles, which was very kind and was prepared properly, unlike the rice. So, after my food has cooled down from waiting 20 minutes, I'm finally able to eat my food as a meal. After this, I ask for the dessert (ice cream), the waitress informed me they only had orange sherbet, at which point I informed her that I didn't like or want that option and when the manager comes out, she starts being rude and arguing with me about how sherbet is ice cream and that's all they can do for me. I tried explaining that there's no need to be rude and I didn't want the dessert that was being forced upon myself. After I suggested, she finally agreed to partially removed the price of desserts from my bill. Overall this restaurant varies on food and service, but after this very poor experience they have lost my business and highly recommend not eating here.

Food was pretty good but after we had eat they tried to over charge us are food are meal came up to $150 for 6 of us. But when we received are check it was $190 just because there was 3 other people sitting at our table that we didn’t even know they tried to charge us the 18% tip for parties over 8 that’s is not acceptable at all since we only had a party 6 so if you go make sure you check for that because hey was also very rude about it and told us to leave!!!

My main issue was the food. They had wilted lettuce with too much ginger dressing on it. You can’t cover bad salad with too much dressing. The chicken and lobster were tough. The noodles were pretty good. It was a really bad experience and then it was over a hundred dollars for us.

A little pricey, but definitely the best Japanese restaurant we've been to in the area.
