Happy Wok

One evening, craving Chinese takeout, I eagerly ordered my favorite dishes. Anticipation turned to dismay as I opened the containers; an off-putting smell hinted at trouble. My usual savory delights were unrecognizable—oily, rubbery textures and an overpowering, rancid taste left me shocked. Attempting a bite proved futile; the food was inedible. Disappointment washed over me as I tossed the entire meal. The anticipation had built up so much, only to be met with such profound dissatisfaction. It wasn't just about the wasted money but the letdown of an anticipated treat turning into an unpleasant experience. The remnants in the trashcan echoed the disappointment of a meal that failed to meet the simplest expectations, leaving me longing for the flavorful satisfaction that had eluded me that night.

The menu shown when you Google this restaurant is completely wrong. Prices are different so they should put the new photos online. Ordered food at 4 to take home for family. One order requested white rice, got brown rice which they can't eat. Chicken fried rice tasted burnt and found some burnt pieces in middle of container. Made the whole box taste bad. Also paid for extra onion but barely had any onion at all. We live a long ways away so wouldn't have made sense to return the food. All the rest was delicious as usual. Hopefully just an off night, but there were no other customers there when we ordered so not sure why there were so many mistakes.

Terrible, south beloit happy wok is 1000000x better than this place. Laziest food I have had in a while

I love this place. Workers are friendly,never got a bad meal and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get.

Food was delivered with brown sauce leaked all over everything, crab Rangoon and spring rolls were covered and soggy with brown sauce, when I called Happy wok they said sometimes too much food is packed in one bag and it happens but blamed Grub hub for Happy Woks packaging and said there is nothing they could do about it because they would lose money. Horrible customer service and I won't be ordering again!!
