Grandma's Pancake House

It was ok, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to come back. When I sat down in the booth I realized that it was covered in crumbs from whoever sat there or whoever cleaned the table. The seats are all cracked and torn so the crumbs had kind of worked their way in. Yum. I had the Hoosier skillet. It was ok, but the eggs were tough.. the biscuits tasted like undercooked pancake batter and the gravy was the standard out-of-the-bag mix. My daughter had the chocolate chip pancakes and they were tough. We asked for small orange juices but got charged for large ones. When we were leaving she finally asked if i wanted a coffee refill. It's been empty for half an hour, it's a little late now ????

I come here with my grandpa every so often for breakfast. Amazing food, never a bad meal with options for just about anybody. Service is amazing as well, even when it’s packed you still get your food in a reasonably speedy time. Atmosphere is very comfy and clean. So much better than restaurants owned by big businesses like Cracker Barrel and is a true American restaurant.

The food here was incredibly good! Everything was fully cooked or cooked exactly how we ordered. They have an enormous menu selection, we struggled to make a decision on breakfast food alone. The customer service was awesome too. Very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back again.

I've eaten here before with good experiences, so it was my first choice when my daughter asked to go out for breakfast. We were seated promptly and received our drinks, then we settled in to wait for a server to take our order. The place was busy with lots of other customers to attend to so we understood it would take a few minutes to have our turn. We weren't in a hurry and expected a little wait. So we waited. We heard the servers discussing our table with some confusion, trying to decide which one was supposed to take care of us. Customers that were seated after us received their food, ate it, and left while my single cup of coffee sat empty without the offer of a refill. I admit that I could have said something at any point but since everyone already knew we hadn't been attended to, I wanted to see how this would play out. I did eventually admit defeat. My daughter was hungry and it was obvious there were no pancakes for her at Grandma's Pancake House. I left a ten on the table which was more than adequate to cover one cup of coffee and a child's drink, and we went home to make pancakes there. I really like this place. The food is good when I get the chance to order it. I want to go back, but reading other reviews it looks like our experience isn't a one time oversight. I think I will probably just stay home.

We love Grandmas, normally. Never had a complaint at all ever. Today was ridiculous. Waited a solid hour for a carryout order. I waited in the establishment for a solid 45 mins watching the food sit, not under the heat, but rather on the counter steadily getting cold. And the pics I have attached is what the wait was for??? Really guys? I know it is Saturday, but I have never seen them so unorganized. Wish I could give a 0 star for today's service.
