Gene's Oyster Bar

I love coming in town for the oysters cause everything about it is just better. The atmosphere is very chill since people just want to come in for lunch and relax. The staff is entertaining and nice. We had a good conversation about where the oysters are now coming from since the hurricane affected Appalachiacola; and he tried to hype my wife up to get two shells and make a pair of earrings. If you like oysters as much as I do, give this place a try if you're down for a drive

We went out for oysters in 9 cities while traveling along the gulf coast from TX to FL. Hands down, this place was the best we came across, and the service & hospitality were outstanding. I can’t wait to get back to PCB as Gene’s will be my very first stop. Counter top seating and cash only service. ATM onsite. If there’s a wait, see it through. You will not regret it.

Gene’s has new ownership but is always welcoming, has great service and the oysters were Alabama farm raised. The tuna dip was a bit dry so might need a little TLC doctoring!

Aside from the company I had, the food was phenomenal. I recommend the loaded baked oysters or really anything. The building Gene's is located in is rather small, however being tucked away in an off the beaten path location, the size of the facility isn't detrimental.
