Garden Restaurant

Stopped into this lovely little restaurant as I was on The Spoon River Drive, Spring Festival. I was pleasantly surprised, the restaurant was clean, the servers were friendly, and our food was delicious!

I had a breakfast skillet and it was above average with good coffee. My friend had the chicken alfredo which he said had sauce made from scratch and was very good. The waitress was attentive almost too much and I would have given 5 stars on service if she had not interrupted our meal to ask if it was one check and then proceeded to bring the check while we were still dining. Overall I would say that it is 7.5/10

The food was fair. We had the special, which was pasta, either spaghetti or mostaccioli. We both had mostaciollo, which was flavorful, but dry. However, salad and garlic bread were included and the price of $8.99 was unbeatable. Portion was very large. Wait staff was great!

We ate breakfast there. The portions were very big and the food was good. Our server was very tentative. The booths are a bit small but overall a nice restaurant for that small town. I would go back.

I visit Lewistown while on vacation. I prefer local business over large corporate changes. The food was delicious. The original sever was the person who seemed distracted, missed a portion of the order, and was later defensive about the missed item on the order. Checkout there was a surprise 1% fee for paying with credit card. No informational sign advising of surcharge for credit card purchases. I will skip this place in the future and travel to other restaurants in another nearby town.
