Fort Watauga

Interesting Fort in the middle of a park. Quick walk from the car, looks like it is being set up for theater! Walked the dogs around without issue.

I love our American heritage. I cried when I walked on the grounds of the Fort. The video was so informative, the displays wonderful. This is such an amazing and important place!!

A beautifully maintained Park with historical significance. A wonderful Trail along the river with plenty of benches to sit, relax and enjoy nature. We stopped at The Visitor Center first, made some purchases, and then continued on but had trouble finding directional signs for the trailhead.

Beautiful park to visit! Will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful and tranquil place, my family and I came here for the first time and we were so surprised and amazed by how clear and beautiful it was. Would definitely recommend and come again.
